Jody Burrage is a lifetime horseman. He graduated from the Kentucky Horseshoeing school to become one of our area's best farriers many years ago. Always the learner, Jody decided to reach beyond his farrier practice and see how else he could help horses thrive.
He went to the American School for Equine Dentistry to learn from long-time veterinarian, Dr. Raymond Hyde. He sat alongside veterinarians and vet techs to learn the skills needed to perform the latest and most effective methods of floating a horse's teeth. With his early background as a paramedic, paired with his extensive knowledge of horse anatomy gained from horseshoeing school, Jody is uniquely qualified to perform these floats and to help educate people about the second most important part of a horse's body.
